Will Power Knows No Obstacles - Building Healthy Habits Together š

Updated: Aug 7

š The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project "Will Power Knows No Obstacles"Ā officially began in Kraslava, Latvia. Implemented within the Mobility of Young PeopleĀ programme (Project No: 2024-1-LV02-KA152-YOU-000200061), the first activity day focused on building a strong foundation for international cooperation while encouraging participants to embrace healthier lifestyles through non-formal education.
The day started with practical Exercise Time, where participants explored both desk exercises and morning workout routines designed to improve posture, metabolism, circulation, and overall wellbeing. The activities demonstrated that staying physically active is possible regardless of daily routines, even for people spending long hours studying or working at a desk. This was followed by interactive ice-breaking activities that helped participants get to know each other, build trust, and establish friendships that will support teamwork throughout the entire project.
š± During the educational sessions, participants discovered the importance of YouthpassĀ as a tool for recognising learning achievements and gained a comprehensive introduction to the Erasmus+ Programme, its opportunities, and its contribution to youth development across Europe. In the afternoon, creativity became a key element of learning as participants designed a large dissemination poster representing both the project and their national cultures. The day concluded with reflection activities, allowing everyone to evaluate their learning experience, followed by an intercultural evening where partner countries proudly introduced their traditions, cuisine, music, dances, and cultural heritage.
š The first day perfectly reflected the project's overall mission: promoting healthier lifestyles while strengthening intercultural dialogue, active citizenship, and European cooperation. By combining physical activity, personal development, cultural exchange, and Erasmus+ awareness, HARA Health and Sports AssociationĀ successfully created an inspiring beginning for a week dedicated to wellbeing, friendship, and lifelong learning. Participants left the day motivated to continue developing healthy habits and to become ambassadors of positive change within their own communities.
