Don't get addicted to drugs and become detached from life!

Within the scope of the project "Don't get addicted to drugs and become detached from life!", youth workers from seven different countries came together in Antalya, Turkey to raise awareness and develop solutions against substance addiction.

During the project, the participants organised a panel discussion exploring the effects of substance abuse on young people, held seminars on the role of sport in combating addiction and conducted surveys with local communities to raise public awareness. The project enabled the participants to learn about substance abuse and effective methods in combating addiction and to raise awareness in their communities. It also showed once again how important volunteerism and international co-operation are against such problems.

At the end of the project, our participants will carry the knowledge they have gained to their local communities and continue their efforts to contribute to the fight against addiction. This process will be an important step towards protecting public health.
